Any amount, big or small will be immensely meaningful to our fighters who fought for our independence.
Long before Malaysia became the peaceful nation we know and live in today, there were those who had already begun fighting in silence.
Operations were often carried out deep in the jungles, along border areas, and in high-risk locations. For those who served in intelligence and covert units, their sacrifices remained unseen, even their closest family members were often unaware of the risks they carried.
Semuanya demi menjaga keamanan sebuah tanah air tercinta… memberi damai dalam tidur malam rakyatnya. Hari ini, pertempuran mereka mungkin sudah berakhir. Tempoh khidmat mereka juga sudah tamat. Namun, pengorbanan mereka tidak seharusnya dilupakan.
All for the sake of protecting a beloved homeland… giving its people the peace to sleep soundly at night. Today, their battles may have ended. Their years of service may be over. But their sacrifices should never be forgotten.

The Pejuang Negara Campaign honours those who once stood on the front lines to defend the homeland.
Through Pejuang Merdeka for the Police, we went to the ground to hear the stories of police veterans who once risked their lives for Malaysia, from the Emergency era of the 1960s to operations against the Communist and insurgent threats. Many of these officers never spoke about the dangers they faced.
Tn. Hj.
Tn. Hj. Alias bin Abdullah joined the police force in 1969. For weeks, even months, he and his fellow officers camped deep in the jungle, tracking insurgents and facing dangers they never spoke of to their families.
Their pay at the time ranged from just RM60 as a recruit to around RM300 a month as an officer. Yet the true price they paid was far greater.

On the other hand, a former officer from the Special Branch Unit F carried out covert operations undercover, keeping his identity and duties hidden, even from his own family, in the effort to dismantle the remnants of the Communist movement in Kuala Lumpur in the early 1990s.

Dengan kerjasama Bahagian Hal Ehwal Pesara Polis (HEPP) Bukit Aman dan Persatuan Bekas Polis Malaysia (PBPM), inisiatif Kempen Pejuang Merdeka untuk Bekas Anggota Polis ini bukan sahaja menelusuri kisah perjuangan mereka, tetapi turut mengenal pasti para veteran yang memerlukan bantuan.
In collaboration with the Police Retirees Affairs Unit (HEPP), Bukit Aman, and the Malaysian Former Police Association (PBPM), the Pejuang Merdeka Campaign for Former Police Personnel not only traces their stories of service and sacrifice, but also identifies veterans who are in need of assistance.
Today, many retired police officers face rising living costs, limited income after retirement, and growing medical needs. While government support is available, some healthcare and daily care needs still have to be covered out of their own pockets.

Sokongan Diperlukan / Support Needed:
🏥 Rawatan & ubat-ubatan / Medical treatment & medication
🩺 Bekalan penjagaan kesihatan / Healthcare supplies
♿ Kerusi roda & alat bantuan mobiliti / Wheelchairs & mobility aids
🤍 Lampin dewasa & keperluan penjagaan diri / Adult diapers & personal care needs
Through Pejuang Merdeka (Police), KHOM MALAYSIA invites Malaysians to honour those who dedicated their lives to keeping our country safe.
Your contribution is more than financial assistance. It is a gesture of gratitude to these national heroes whose courage and sacrifice built the peace we enjoy today. Because without them, Malaysia would not be where it is today.

Disclaimer: While some of the heroes we met are not recipients of the Pejuang Negara Aid — as they are already living in stable and comfortable conditions — they generously shared their stories, not for personal gain, but out of deep concern for their fellow comrades who continue to face hardship. Their voices echo the silent struggles of many who still need our support.
