MIX’s One World, One Humanity initiative has joined hands with the Karisma Humanitarian Outreach Mission (KHOM) non-governmental organisation. This Ramadan, as families gather for iftar, thousands in Palestine remain hungry and displaced, struggling to find their next meal. Mix One World, One Humanity aims to bring hope by providing essential food aid to 200 families in desperate need. Our goal is to raise RM60,000 within the next two weeks before Eid Aidilfitri to ensure these families receive vital food supplies. Your generosity can ease their suffering in this sacred month. We launched this initiative in November 2023 in response to the cries of the people of Gaza, who endured 15 months of war before a fragile ceasefire on January 15, 2025. However, ongoing violations by the occupation forces, a total aid blockade since March, and electricity cuts have plunged Gaza into a deeper crisis.
This Ramadan, KHOM’s ground teams in Gaza are distributing what remains of their supplies, while 1,400 tonnes of aid from Jordan remain on standby. As starvation spreads, Mix and Malaysians cannot look away while innocent lives hang in the balance.
During the first phase of the Mix One World, One Humanity campaign, the initial fundraising goal was RM10,000—astonishingly reached within just four hours! Encouraged by this overwhelming support, the target was raised to RM30,000 and met within 12 hours. By the end of the campaign, donations had soared past RM60,000, reaching an incredible RM72,416.02—a testament to the generosity and compassion of Malaysians, especially Mix listeners and fans.

KHOM is registered under the ROS (PPM-009-03-27112018) and has a proven track record of 100% successful aid delivery in Gaza, completing more than 65 phases of assistance reaching out to over 95,000 people across the entire Gaza Strip to date. KHOM began providing on-the-ground support just days after the conflict began, starting on October 12, 2023.
KHOM operates through three dedicated on-the-ground teams in Gaza, covering different areas of the Gaza Strip, and a Malaysia-based team managing aid entry through Jordan. Teams are divided into:
During the total blockade of North Gaza, KHOM mounted a bold and urgent response to get food delivered to Gaza’s starving population. In a historic first, KHOM led Malaysia’s inaugural airdrop mission, delivering lifesaving food boxes to Gaza from Jordan, with vital support from the Royal Jordanian Air Force.
Last year, a month into Gaza’s war, KHOM ground teams distributed thousands of winter clothes to keep children warm. Now, as the second winter approaches, families face an even harsher reality. With homes destroyed, many are left in tents or makeshift shelters built from scraps.
Fathers struggle to protect their little ones safe from relentless threats of bombardments. Orphaned children will be facing winter alone and mothers will be struggling desperately to keep their newborns warm.
With the complete destruction of homes and healthcare, it’s crucial that we protect as many Palestinians as possible from winter illnesses. We make an urgent appeal to all to contribute and help protect Palestinian families with winter warmth.
